MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
Museum of Natural History – Herculite Doors – Eastern Glass fabricated all-glass doors for the new Richard Gilder Center for Science at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The hardware consists of Rixson H345 walking beam pivots, Besam bottom arms, Assa Abloy 4″ top and 10” bottom square door rails, Assa Abloy vertical stiles, Assa Abloy PDU8000-1 panic handles, Assa Abloy DDU8000-3 dummy handles and Assa Abloy ESK-DBL electric strikes/stops. The rails, stiles and panics are in a #4 brushed stainless steel finish. The glass is 3/4″ low iron tempered and laminated with an SGP interlayer for additional safety and strength.
