About Us
Eastern Glass Resources was incorporated in 1986. Working out of a 7000 square foot building in East Newark, New Jersey, Eastern Glass Resources, Inc. started as a converter, cutting glass into smaller sizes and packing 50 square foot boxes for the picture frame and hardware industries. Shortly after, we began to distribute flat glass to the glass shops. In 1991, Eastern Glass Resources, Inc. began manufacturing Insulated Glass Units for the glazing trade and the window manufacturers. At the same time, Eastern Glass Resources, Inc. moved to a 42000 square foot facility in Harrison, New Jersey. To service our Long Island customers, we opened a second facility in 1993 in Amityville, New York. In 1997 we purchased a CNC automated cutting line and a polishing machine and began selling to the industrial trades. To control quality and all processes in house, we installed a new state of the art Tamglass tempering furnace in 2003. A new mitering / polishing line and a CNC Drill / Saw line was added in 2005 to keep up with the growing demand for frameless shower enclosures and Herculite doors. In 2007, we purchased another polishing line to fabricate heavy glass for All Glass Entrances and Doors.
The philosophy at Eastern Glass Resources, Inc. remains the same today. We continue to reinvest the profits back into our business with the latest state of the art technology. Each and every one of our 70 employees takes great pride in their work and the company that they have helped build. We value the trust our customers place in us and are committed to 100% customer satisfaction.
